The unspoken connection ❤️👀

The moment Dev saved Shreedha felt almost magical—as if the world had paused just for them. For a few seconds, everything around them faded into silence.

Yet soon, an awkward quiet settled between them.

Dev finally cleared his throat.

“Are you… okay?”

Shreedha looked at him, a small grateful smile forming on her lips.

“Yeah… I’m fine. Thanks… for saving me.”

Before the moment could deepen, Arjun suddenly appeared, his tone sharp.

“Shreedha… do you really think you should be dancing like that in front of everyone?”

Shreedha’s eyes flashed with irritation.

“I just got lost in the music, Arjun. And honestly… why am I even explaining this to you? You don’t have the right to tell me what I should or shouldn’t do.”

“I’m saying it because I care about you,” he replied softly, stepping closer.

Shreedha folded her arms, raising an eyebrow.

“And why do you care so much? Enlighten me.”

Arjun’s voice dropped, filled with emotion.

“Because I love you… and I don’t know how much time I have to tell you this.”

For a moment, Shreedha’s expression hardened. Her voice was calm, but every word was firm.

“You don’t need to tell me. I already know. And I’ve told you before… I don’t love you.”

She added quietly, yet firmly,

“And please… don’t make a scene. I’m really not in the mood.”

Arjun stood there for a second, his shoulders heavy with unspoken pain, before finally walking away.

Dev, who had silently observed everything, noticed the discomfort in Shreedha’s eyes. Once Arjun left, he stepped a little closer.

“Are you okay?”

She nodded, though she looked slightly shaken.

“Yeah… I’m okay.”

Dev hesitated before speaking again.

“I won’t ask about him,” he said gently. “But I have to tell you something. When you were dancing… for a moment, I felt like I was watching a live performance… without even buying a ticket.”

He smiled softly.

“You were incredible.”

A faint blush spread across Shreedha’s cheeks.

“Thank you,” she whispered shyly.

They began walking slowly, the cool evening breeze wrapping around them.

Dev suddenly grinned mischievously.

“Okay… can I ask you something?”

Shreedha looked at him suspiciously. “What?”

“That day in the metro… when we collided again. I overheard you describing your ‘fictional man’ to your friend.”

He tilted his head teasingly.

“Care to describe him again? I’m really curious about this… ideal guy of yours.”

Shreedha burst into laughter and lightly swatted his arm.

“Stop it!”

Before she could say anything else, Suhana jumped in excitedly.

“Oh yes! The fictional man! I want to hear about him too!”

Shreedha groaned dramatically.

“Shut up, Suhana! I’ll tell you… someday.”

They all laughed, but beneath the laughter, something new had begun to grow.

Dev felt an unexpected urge to protect her… to admire her… to stay close to her.

And Shreedha felt something she hadn’t expected either—comfort, safety… and a strange desire to spend more time with him.

Only two meetings.

And yet… the feeling was undeniable.

As Shreedha and Suhana prepared to leave, Dev and Shreedha exchanged their Instagram IDs.

A small gesture.

But perhaps… the beginning of something much bigger.
